Who is Jesus?
Jesus is the subject. So, who is Jesus?

Jesus is the very product of God’s love. He is the Son of God and the second person in the Trinity. Born of a virgin, he is fully human and fully God. More than two thousand years ago, he walked the earth and radically changed the culture around him. As the perfect sacrifice, he willingly endured a shameful death on a cross, taking upon himself the punishment that we deserved for our sins.

Three days following his death, he was raised to life again, neutralizing the power of sin and death over our lives. Those who accept Jesus Christ as Savior are no longer bound by the power of sin and have an eternity waiting for them in heaven. As our Lord, he calls us to personal and cultural transformation. Taking on the likeness of Christ, we seek to change the world through the love of God and offer the hope of Christ to all.

Jesus is the reason we exist. Jesus is the center of what we do. Jesus makes all the difference.

Do you want to make Jesus the subject of your life? You can become a Jesus-follower (a Christian) today!

First, recognize that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23). Second, understand that the consequence of sin is death, but God’s gift through Jesus Christ is eternal life (Rom 6:23). “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Rom 10:9 NIV).

It begins with a prayer. Talk to God. Ask him to forgive your sins (1 John 1:9), thank him for his sacrifice, and accept his gift to you. He’ll hear you, and you’ll begin a brand new life (2 Cor 5:17).

The Bible

GOD WROTE A BOOK

The Bible is God's Word to all people. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it was inspired by God, the Bible is truth without any mixture of error and is completely relevant to our daily lives.

God is great, God is good

God is great: He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist. God is good: He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.

God became man

Jesus Christ is completely human but, at the same time, completely God. He is the only plan for bringing people who are far from God back into a right relationship with God. He lived a perfect life, so that He could be a substitution for us in satisfying God's demands for perfection. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we could have life.

God is always present.

His presence assures us of our relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God's righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.

Eternity

SOMEWHERE FOREVER

Man was created to exist forever. He will exist either eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is Heaven. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.

Man

GOD'S IMAGE BEARERS

Man is made in the image of God and is the supreme object of His creation. Man was created to have fellowship with God but became separated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man cannot attain a right relationship with God through his own effort. Every human personality is uniquely created, possesses dignity, and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

Salvation

God's only way

The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.

The Church

God's design for community

The Church is a local community of baptized believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ and obeying all of His commands, and it seeks to bring the Gospel to the world. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ.

Lead Pastor - Joel & Shafali Frymire
Picture

Their Story

Both Joel & Shafali received salvation at early ages. Their families’ faith having shaped much of their early lives. They both enjoy leading people into an ever deepening relationship with Jesus. They are excited to help others discover the truth of God’s word and works; showing people the similarities between their lives and those presented in the bible. Getting people to discover what God is calling them to do is one of their primary goals; they strive daily to live out the Great Commission.
Pastor Joel draws great strength from the verse Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. It reminds him that ministry is not about himself or what he does. It is letting Jesus live through him and letting Jesus be front and center in his life/ministry.

Family Life

Married since 2005 the Frymires’ feel that God has called them to live a family life that glorifies Him, just as He has called them to life of service to the church.
Their two sons (Malachi and Elliot) and two daughters (Mahalia and Eliana) are an integral part of their lives. Together, Joel and Shafali strive to raise Godly children and model a faith filled family life. While life is often messy and never perfect, Joel and Shafali strive to please God with the way the lead and guide the family He has placed in their care.
The Frymires enjoys board games, movies, fishing, hiking, and good fellowship.

Her favorite verse is Psalms 40:1-5   I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry.   He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire;he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.  He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.   Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.  Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.
